The Homestead Valley Community Council will hear a proposal for a summer solstice pizza party fundraiser at its meeting Monday, May 20. Representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, County Fire, Calfire and Field Reps for State Senator Shannon Grove and County Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe have been invited to attend. The meeting will be held at 3 p.m. in Belfield Hall on Reche Road in Landers.
