The Homestead Valley Community Council will hold its monthly meeting Monday, July 17. The council represents the communities of Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley. Representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, as well as County Fire and CalFire will be in attendance. The meeting starts at 3 p.m. at the Flamingo Heights Community Center on Perris Road, two blocks west of La Copine Restaurant.
