The Homestead Valley Community Council will hold its regular monthly meeting 3 p.m. Monday, April 18, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center. Representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, county fire department, and CalFire will be available to answer questions. Residents from Yucca Mesa, Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley are encouraged to attend. The community center is located at 3133 Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen Road.
