The Homestead Valley Community Council will meet Monday, December 21, at 3 p.m. at the Yucca Mesa Community Center. On the agenda is the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan and its effects on the Scenic Highway 247 campaign, and the West Mojave Travel Management Plan and its effects on desert communities. In addition, a representative from the Sheriff’s Department will be on hand to make a report. The Yucca Mesa Community Center is at 3133 Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen Road.
