The Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan and the county’s solar moratorium will be among the topics discussed at Monday’s meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council. Omar Castro, field representative for County Supervisor Janice Rutherford, is planning to attend the meeting. The meeting will be held 5 p.m. Monday, October 21, in Belfield Hall, 58380 Reche Road, in Landers.
