The Homestead Valley Community Council will discuss the state fire tax at its meeting Monday. Also on the agenda are renewable energy, a presentation by Pat Flanagan on the BLM’s West Mojave Route project, and illegal dumping. Public comments on these and any other issues are welcome. The meeting starts at 3:00 Monday at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue, just off Aberdeen.
