High Desert Homegrown Poultry Association will hold their quarterly meeting this Wednesday evening, April 27, at 6 p.m. at Yucca Mesa Community Center. Founder Charla Shamhart will give a presentation about the best egg laying chickens for home poultry fans. There will also be the opportunity to participate in a group order of baby chicks from a leading supplier of day-old baby chicks.
