High Desert Homegrown Poultry Association will hold its quarterly meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. at Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley. The center is just north of Aberdeen Ave. on the Mesa. There will be a presentation and talk by founder Charla Shamhart on preparing poultry for cold and rainy weather. There is always lively discussion about chickens and other poultry with good information shared by many. The meeting is free and everyone is welcome.
