Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a home-invasion robbery that took place in Twentynine Palms early Thursday morning. About 4 a.m., four men armed with knives and wearing hooded sweatshirts, forced entry into the victims’ home in the 6800 block of Araby Avenue. Once inside, the suspects assaulted the victims, and threatened to come back and kill them if they called police. The suspects stole some personal items before leaving. At this time, deputies do not believe it is a hate crime. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
