Holiday food boxes were distributed to needy families last Saturday.
A joint effort between the Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary, their family members, and several Miss Yucca Valley contestants, more than 50 food boxes filled with canned goods, perishables, desserts and even a ham were distributed at the Armed Services YMCA at the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.
