Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley municipal offices will be closed from Thursday, December 24, through Friday January 1. Municipal offices will reopen Monday, January 4.
The Twentynine Palms Senior Center will be closed December 24 and 25. There will be no senior lunch on those dates. From Monday, December 28, through Thursday, December 30, the Senior Center will be open from 9 to 1 daily, and senior lunch will be served. The Senior Center will resume its normal hours January 4. All government offices and services, as well as banks, Burrtec Waste and Recycling, and the Morongo Basin Transit Authority will be closed Friday, December 25, in observance of Christmas. Waste and recycling services will be delayed by one day.
Copper Mountain College will be closed from December 25 through January 1, and will re-open January 4. The college’s online help desk and wait-list notifications will not be operating during the break, although students can continue to submit online registrations during the winter break.
