The Joshua Tree courthouse will be closed on Friday, July 3, due to the Independence Day Holiday.
MBTA BUS WILL NOT RUN FRIDAY
The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will not operate service Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Regular service will resume Sunday, July 5.
YUCCA VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY
The Yucca Valley animal shelter and animal control services will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observation of Independence Day. The animal shelter will be available by appointment only for pet owners to retrieve their impounded animals. To make an appointment or to leave a message about a lost or found pet, call the animal shelter at 760-365-3111. Staff will be checking messages and returning calls daily between the hours of 8:00-10:00 am. The animal shelter also provides kennel runs for anyone turning in stray animals or their pets while the shelter is closed. Animal Control Services will be responding to emergency calls only. If you have an emergency animal-related call, call 760-365-2364.
BURRTEC ON REGULAR SCHEDULE
Burrtec Waste and Recycling Services will be open regular business hours today. Waste and recycling collections will be on their regular schedules.
