Calling all cooks: The Morongo Basin Historical Society is having a marketplace yard sale and will have a collection of cookbooks from down home to gourmet with recipes for regional and worldwide cuisines. Grab a bag to stuff with clothes for only $1. The yard sale will be on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 632 Landers Lane in Landers. Other feature items on sale include office supplies, wine glasses, collectibles, household items and more. If you want to donate items, call 760-364-2000, they pick up.
