The Morongo Basin Historical Society’s second movie of 2016 featuring locally filmed movies is “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.” Paul Newman stars as the outlaw who rides into town and proclaims himself the marshal and judge west of the Pecos, shooting and hanging passers-by and then appropriating their money. The film will be shown on the portico of the historical society’s museum, 632 Landers Lane in Landers on Saturday, June 25. Tickets for dinner and the movie are $12; the movie only is $7.
