Join the Morongo Basin Historical Society Saturday for a movie under the stars Saturday, August 15. The historical society will screen “Last Chance,” Bryan Cranston’s 1999 movie that was filmed and set in Pioneertown and the Yucca Valley bowling alley. “Last Chance” is set in a California desert where a woman living without a dream meets a man who lives by his dreams. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for members; $10 for non-members, and includes the movie and a hamburger dinner. The Morongo Basin Historical Society is located at 632 Landers Lane in Landers.
