It’s the Dog Days of August for the Morongo Basin Historical Society. The historical society will hold its monthly rummage sale Friday and Saturday, August 23-24, from 8 to 2. The historical society cleaned out its garage and office, and will offer for sale lots of handyman items—such as nails, screws, tools, and more—and office supplies, such as paper and printers. There will also be a sale of vintage items like furniture, household items, and toys. The sale will be at the Morongo Basin Historical Society’s office, 632 Landers Lane in Landers.
