The Morongo Basin Historical Society boldly goes where no other Historical Society has gone before with “Area 62,” a fundraiser built around the history of Giant Rock, the Integratron, George Van Tassel and local ET history. There will be UFO presentations and exhibits, a catered lunch, followed by a trip to Giant Rock, games and prizes. Participants will be the first to view a new UFO exhibit, featuring a crashed spacecraft and ET replicas. The event is set for January 26, from 10 ’til 5 at the MBHS Museum and Research Center in Landers. Tickets are $45 per person, and space is limited. To reserve your spot, call Barbara Harris at 760-365-3266.
