Wednesday March 9 join The Morongo Basin Historical Society ‘s second Wednesday lecture series. Mike Branning, owner of Unique Landscape and Cactus will discuss “Xeriscaping: The Sustainable Solution.” Xeriscaping is a way of landscaping which reduces or eliminates the need for supplemental watering. By using both native and Southwestern plants along with drip irrigation, water wise landscaping is the sustainable solution especially during severe drought conditions. Branning will answer all your questions about landscaping, irrigation and plant material. The lecture begins at 5:30 p.m. for a $5 donation and is held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum Yucca Valley 57116 29 Palms Highway.
