Join the Morongo Basin Historical Society at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum on September 9 at 5:30 p.m. for the “Turkey Vulture Migrations and the Migrations of Raptors through the Desert” presentation by Kurt Leuschner. Leuschner will discuss the habits and traits of the seasonal waves of turkey vultures through the desert. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is located at 57116 on the Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. Admission is a $5 donation.
