HISTORICAL LECTURE SERIES STARTS UP TOMORROW WITH PIONEERTOWN, U.S.A.

The Morongo Basin Historical Society’s second Wednesday lecture series this Wednesday, September 12, is titled “Pioneertown, USA: Preserving “How The Old West Lives Again.” It will be presented by Kenneth Gentry, author, publisher and artist. Gentry’s talk will focus on some of the most important unreported, misreported, forgotten and overlooked facts about Pioneertown’s history and gives insight into Pioneertown’s present day community. A book signing will follow. Join the second Wednesday lecture series at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum, located at 57116 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. The lecture begins at 5:30. Donation is $5.
