HILLTOPPERS GRAND PRIX RACES THIS WEEKEND IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

The Twentynine Palms Wild West Grand Prix, hosted by Hilltoppers Motorcycle Club of Long Beach, is the first weekend of April. Since 1996, the races have been held on a scenic eight-mile grand prix track at Twentynine Palms Motorsports Arena, three miles east of downtown on 29 Palms Hwy at Mojave Road. An AMA (American Motorcycle Association) sanctioned event, Twentynine Palms is the fourth race of the District 37 Big Six Grand Prix series and attracts 1,200 entrants and 5,000+ spectators. Events include vintage, classic, unclassified, quads/sidecars, youth and pee-wee racing. Races begin at 7:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be spectator viewing areas, vendors, and food booths.

Gates Open:

Noon – midnight, Friday, Sign-up 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

6 a.m. – midnight, Saturday, Sign-up 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.

6 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, Sign-up 6 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Gate Fees:

Per person: $10/day or $20/weekend

Military w/I.D. $5/day

Kids: 6-12 $5/day

Children under 5 free
