A hiker who was scrambling on the rocks in Indian Cove Sunday morning had to be rescued after she fell. About 9:40 a.m., an unidentified woman fell from the rocks and injured her back and pelvis. Due to the difficulty of reaching her, and the time it would have taken, the Sheriff’s helicopter was called in and she was hoisted out on a cable. The woman was flown to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs for treatment.
