A project to rehabilitate the pavement on Highway 62 in Yucca Valley to Twentynine Palms from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue will continue this week with lane closures. The project will grind the existing roadway and replace with new asphalt. This week, the lane closures are east- and westbound from Whitefeather Road to Barranca Street, and will take place from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, June 24, to Friday, June 28. No weekend work will be done. The project is expected to be completed late August 2013.
