Twentynine Palms track and field team traveled to Norco High School for a relays meet. Zach Kanlong earned first place in the mile and Alan Vander Maas won the discus. On the girls side Sia Faletagaloa (fall eh tong ah low ah) earned two medals for her efforts in the shot put and discus. Up next, the Wildcats will travel to Desert Mirage for their first league meet of the season on Wednesday.
Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat golf team will play the Desert Mirage High School Rams in Thermal. Tee time is at 2:45.
The Joshua Springs Lightning baseball and softball teams will travel to Lucerne Valley tomorrow. Both games start at 3:15.
