The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat golf team traveled to Desert Hot Springs Tuesday to play a league match against the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles. The Wildcats came home with a win, carding their lowest team score of the season 245 to 295. Coach Gary Bell said Low scores for the Wildcats were posted by Justin Delarosa, 47; James Pierce, 48; and Manual Purdue, 49. The win keeps the Wildcats in first place with a league record of 9 and 1, and an overall record of 12 and 3.
In high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School baseball and softball teams will host Desert Mirage High School at home. First pitch for both games is at 3:15.
The Trojan golf team will travel away to Big Bear tomorrow. Tee off is at 2:45.
