HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: SCORES AND SCHEDULES

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat volleyball team lost to Rancho Mirage in three sets. Coach Missy Bond said Mara Mapuatuli was selected as Wildcat of the week.

The Lady Wildcat tennis team traveled to take on the Lady Rams of Desert Mirage High School yesterday. The Wildcats overwhelmed the opposition with a perfect shut out score of 18-0. Of special note were the doubles teams of Danny Morrissey and Sherolyn Alconaba, and Sam Crippen and Sadie Brown, who all earned their first career sweeps, winning all three sets in a row. The Wildcats now stand at 5-2 in DeAnza League.

Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School and Twentynine Palms High School tennis and volleyball teams will play each other in Twentynine Palms. Tennis starts at 3:15; volleyball at 4:30.

The Joshua Springs Lightning volleyball team will host Redlands Adventist Academy at home. First serve is at 5:30.
