The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats Volleyball team lost to shadow hills in three sets yesterday. Coach Missy Bond said the Ladycats were lead by junior Tatiyanna Mackall who had four kills and one block. Senior Latasia Benevente had three kills, one ace serve, and one assist. Junior Mara Mapuatuli had two blocks. Seniors Allix Durrum and Courtney Stanford combined four kills and nine assists. The Ladycats are now 1-1 in league and travel to Big Bear on Tuesday to take on the Bears.
Coming up in high school sports tonight, the Yucca Valley High School Trojans will host the Big Bear Bears at home.
The Twentynine Palms High School Homecoming game will be against Rancho Mirage High School.
And the Joshua Springs Lightning football team will travel away to Lancaster Baptist School.
All games start at 7 p.m.
