HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: SCORES AND SCHEDULES

The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcats basketball team was back in De Anza league action Thursday night against Shadow Hills. Coach Michael Schneider said it was a defensive battle throughout, but the Wildcats came just short on the road to the reigning De Anza League champs. The score was 51-46. Freshman twins Adam and Abraham Bell led the way in scoring. Abraham had 11 points with Adam chipping in 11. This brings Twentynine Palms’ boys basketball record to 3 and 4 overall, with a De Anza league record of 2 and 1.

Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School girls’ wrestling team will travel away to the girls’ invitational meet in Indian Springs. The JV team will participate in an invitational meet in Palm Springs.
