HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: SCORES AND SCHEDULES

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ basketball team traveled to play the Yucaipa Thunderbirds Wednesday night. Coach T.J. Stanford said the ’Cats were victorious with a 95-84 score. The ’Cats will play Friday in the semifinals of the Beaumont Tip-Off Classic at 7 p.m.
D’Shaun Barrett led in scoring with 37 points, going a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Adam Bell had 19 points, brother Abraham Bell had 15, Jordan Toa added 13 tough points.

Coming up in high school sports, the Twentynine Palms High School girls’ soccer team will participate in the Desert Mirage tournament in Thermal, today through Saturday.
