In high school sports, the Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat varsity tennis team traveled to Rancho Mirage Tuesday to face the CIF champion Rattlers of Rancho Mirage. The Ladycats lost 3 to 15. The Ladycats were led in singles action by Alicia Gilchrist and Tamesha Jefferson each winning one set while in doubles actions the Ladycats were led by the team of Danny Morrissey and Alexis Soster winning on of their sets. The Ladycats are now 1 and 1 in conference play.
Coming up in high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School girls’ tennis and volleyball teams will host Coachella High School at home. Tennis is at 3:15; volleyball at 4:30 p.m.

Also today, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan cross-country team will participate in the first DeAnza League meet, starting at 3:15.
