The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ varsity tennis team traveled to Desert Hot Spring to face the Eagles on Wednesday. The Wildcats came back with a loss 6 to 12. The Wildcats were led by Brett Hope, who swept all three of his sets while Nathan Thomas won two of his and Camerin Rimmington brought home one. The Wildcats had a good season ending up 5 and 5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Indian Wells next week on Monday and Tuesday for the DeAnza League Individual finals.
In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School baseball team will host Rancho Mirage High School at home. First pitch is at 3:15.
Also today, the Twentynine Palms High School baseball and softball teams will host Desert Hot Springs at home. First pitch for both games is at 3:15.
