HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: SCORES AND SCHEDULES

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball team hosted the Desert Mirage Rams yesterday, Senior Night, and won in three sets. 
 
Junior Lindsey Scamman led the team with seven kills, three blocks, and two assists. Senior Tatiyanna Mackall had four kills, three ace serves, and two blocks. Senior Selemara Mapuatuli had four kills, one solo block, and one blocking assist. Junior Vaitupu Melei had four kills, and two ace serves. Sophomore Gabby Mackall had one kill, two aces, 16 assists and one blocking assist. Hope Culver had six ace serves for the night.
 
The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat tennis team hosted Big Bear on Tuesday. The Ladycats came away with the win 11 to 7. 
 
In singles action, the Ladycats were led by Lexi Wade and Alicia Gilchrist, who won both of their sets, while Kaitlynn Black won one of her sets. In doubles action, the teams of Sherolyn Alconaba/Danny Morrissey and Sadie Brown/Sam Crippen won both of their sets, while the teams of Kyla Limon/Shadia Sanchez and Tamesha Jefferson/Trinity Bosch both won one set. 
 
In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School girls’ tennis team will host Big Bear High School at home. The match starts at 3:15.
 
Also today, the Joshua Springs Christian School Lightning volleyball team will play Palm Valley at home. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
