The Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojan varsity volleyball team lost to the San Jacinto Tigers last night in four sets. Coach Darrell Sterling said, “I feel we played well. The girls are moving around the court well and communication is picking up. All this is important for the girls to start working as a team.”

In high school sports today, both the Twentynine Palms and Joshua Springs high school volleyball teams will be playing today. The Twentynine Palms LadyCats will travel to Indio to play Shadow Hills High School, starting at 4:30 p.m. The Joshua Springs Lightning has an away non-conference match at Victor Valley Christian School in Victorville, starting at 5:30 p.m.
