Last night was senior night for the Twentynine Palms high school boys’ basketball team. The Wildcats honored seniors Jimmy Shragge, Demetrius Holmes, Kole Green, Elijah Scipio, Carson Zimarik, Elijah Jones, Kyle Hope, Travaun Morrow, and Andrew Wilson in a 62-45 win over the Shadow Hills Knights. Coach Jeremy Johnson said leading the Wildcats were Andrew Wilson with 14 points and nine rebounds, Jimmy Shragge with 12 points, Abraham Bell with 11 points and eight rebounds; D’Shaun Barrett had nine points for the game.
Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will play Desert Hot Springs High School. The boys will play at home; the girls will travel away. Both games start at 5 p.m.

Also tomorrow, the Joshua Springs boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will travel away to play Nuview Bridge High School. The girls play at 3:15; the boys at 5 p.m.
