Yucca Valley Lady Trojan basketball lost a non-league road game to the San Jacinto Tigers, 61-32. Ashley Priest led the scoring with 13 points while Savannah Beasley chipped in six points and Taylor Spitz added five points. The team is now 3-2 on the season and hit the road again tonight for a first round game in the Hesperia Christian Holiday Tournament against University Prep of Victorville. Tomorrow, they will play Apple Valley High School, starting at 4:30 p.m.
In high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School boys and girls soccer teams will host Xavier Prep at home. The first game starts at 3:15; the boys at 5 p.m.
The Joshua Springs boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will host Nuview Bridge at home tomorrow. The girls start at 5; the boys at 6:30.
The Yucca Valley High School wrestling team will compete against Citrus Hill in Perris Friday and Saturday.
