HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: SCORE AND SCHEDULE

The Girls Varsity Tennis Team beat Desert Mirage Wednesday 14-4. Coach Cindy Miller said everyone played well and the team is now 5-1.
In singles: Carrie Scofield 6-1, 6-0, 6-1, Katie Brattain 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 In doubles: Dawn Rich and April Bratcher 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, Kloee Sacclanoce and Savannah Beasley 6-3, 6-0, 6-0, McKenzi Monical and Summer Nelson 6-3, 6-4 
The 29 Palms High School Lady cat tennis team hosted the Arabs of Coachella valley on Wednesday.  Coach William Shay said the Lady cats took a decisive win over the Arabs 14 to 4. 
In singles action, the lady cats were led by Alicia Gilchrist sweeping all three of her sets and lexi wade winning two of hers.  In doubles action, the teams of  Kyla Limon/Shadia Sanchez and Sherolyn Alconaba /Danny Morrissey swept all three of their sets while Sadie brown/Samantha Crippen won two of their sets.

In high school football tonight, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan football team will travel to Thermal to play Desert Mirage High School.
The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat football team will host the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles at home. Both games start at 7 p.m.
 And the Joshua Springs Christian Lightning football team will travel to Canoga Park to play Faith Baptist High School, starting at 3 p.m.
 In high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School cross-country team will travel to Castaic to take part in the Santa Clarita Valley Invitational cross-country meet.
