In high school sports today, both the Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms High School football teams have a bye week.
The Wildcat and Trojan cross-country teams will participate in the Hi-Desert Classic, starting at 4 p.m.
The Twentynine Palms volleyball and tennis teams will travel away to play the Big Bear Bears. Tennis starts at 3:15 and volleyball at 5 p.m.
