Twentynine Palms Wildcats boys’ basketball traveled to Shadow Hills High School in Indio last night and defeated the Knights, 59-38. Athletic Director Jeremy Johnson said Abraham Bell led all scoring with 14 points, D’Shaun Barrett 12 points, Kyle Hope 11 points. The Wildcats played good defense with 15 total steals. Kyle Hope had five steals, Jimmy Shragge three steals, D’Shaun Barrett two steals. Jimmy Shragge had 8 assists and Andrew Wilson and Abraham Bell each had 4 rebounds for the game.
Coming up in high school sports today, the Joshua Springs High School boys’ basketball team will travel to Rancho Mirage to face Palm Valley High School. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
Tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School jv boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will face Desert Hot Springs High School. Boys will travel away and girls will play at home. Both games start at 4:30 p.m. The boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will also face Desert Hot Springs High School with boys traveling away and girls playing at home. Both games will start at 5 p.m.
