The Yucca Valley High School Trojan baseball team lost to first place Shadow Hills High School Wednesday afternoon. The Trojans bats were quiet all day except for a single by senior Jeremy Schoenborn and an RBI fielders choice hit by junior Colden McGarvie. McGarvie also pitched seven innings, striking out four batters and only walking two. The Final score was 4-1. The Trojans junior varsity team lost by the score of 4-3.
Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan baseball and softball teams will travel away to play the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles. Both games are at 3:30.
Also tomorrow, the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat baseball and softball teams will travel away to Indio to play the Shadow Hills High School Knights. Both games start at 5 p.m.
