Wednesday, the Twentynine Palms High School girls’ tennis team defeated Desert Mirage High School by a score of 14-4. Coach Joe Ingram said Roberta Martinez and Madison Gall won both of their sets. Samantha Crippen and Cortni Rahn won their set. The Wildcats are now 5 wins, 2 losses in the De Anza League, firmly in third place.
Coming up in high school sports tonight, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan football team will travel away to Desert Hot Springs to play the Golden Eagles. The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat football team will travel away to Indio to play the Shadow Hills Knights. And the Joshua Springs Lightning football team will host Bloomington Christian at home. Kick-off for all games is at 7 p.m.
In high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley cross-country team will travel away to participate in the Santa Clarita Invitational.
