Wednesday, the Twentynine Palms High School Lady Cats Volleyball team won against Cathedral City in three sets. Standouts in the game were Latasia Benevente with seven kills and two ace serves; Courtney Stanford had six kills, two ace serves, and Tatiyanna Mackall had four kills, two blocks, and three ace serves. Coach Missy Franz said their was fantastic passing from defense specialists Allix Durrum and McKenzy Johnson
It’s football, football, football in high school sports tonight. Twentynine Palms High School, Yucca Valley High School, and Joshua Springs Christian School are all traveling away tonight. The Twentynine Palms Wildcats will play the Indio Rajahs; Yucca Valley Trojans will travel to Rowland Heights; and the Joshua Spring Lightning will play Lucerne Valley. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
