The Twentynine Palms Wildcat golf team traveled to Hesperia yesterday to take on league rival Big Bear, and came away with a win 237-287. Coach Grant Whipple said leading the way for the ’Cats where Brandon Steffins, 37; Justin Delarosa, 42; and Hayden Shupp. 48. The ’Cats are now 4-0 in league play.
Coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat golf team will travel away to Rancho Mirage High School. Tee-off is at 2:45.
The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat baseball team will host the Joshua Springs Lightning team at home. First pitch is at 3:30.
