In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School girls’ volleyball team will participate in the Nike Tournament of Champions.
In high school football, the Yucca Valley High School Trojan football team will host Rancho Mirage High School at home. The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat football team will host the Big Bear Bears at home at the junior high school field. And the Joshua Springs Lightning football team will travel away to Desert Christian School. Kick-off for all games is at 7 p.m.
And the Twentynine Palms High School cross-country team will take part in the Rockin’ Rubidoux Invitational meet in Jurupa Valley, starting at 8:30.
