Thursday was senior night for the Yucca Valley High School Trojan wrestlers. The girls walked away with another win in league against Banning High School, to bring their record to 5-and-1. The boys also picked up another win against Banning High School; this brings their record to 3-1.
In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School boys’ and girls’ basketball and soccer teams will travel away to play the Cathedral City Lions.
The Twentynine Palms boys’ and girls’ basketball and soccer teams will travel away to Thermal to play Coachella Valley High School.
All the soccer games start at 5 p.m., the girls’ basketball games start at 6, and the boys’ basketball games start at 7:30 p.m.
And coming up in high school sports tomorrow, the Yucca Valley High School wrestling team will travel away to Banning High School to participate in the Desert Valley League finals, starting at 9 a.m.
