The Yucca Valley High School Girls Tennis team participated in League finals yesterday.
Coach Cindy Miller said all the girls in singles and doubles had a bye in the first round.
In the second round, Abby Aubuchon beat Wagner from Cathedral City 8-6, in the third round she lost 3-8 to Lopez from Indio.
McKayla Henry beat Izar from Desert Mirage 8-2, in the third round she beat Guinan from Cathedral City 8-2. She will play in the semi-finals tomorrow against Maritsa from Coachella Valley.
Eden Ricketts beat Yamile Lopez from Desert Mirage 8-0, she then lost in the third round to Maritsa from Coachella Valley.
In doubles, Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr beat Aiken/Gonzales from Cathedral City 8-1, in the third round they beat Zamora/Mayorga from Coachella Valley 8-2. They will be playing in the semi-finals tomorrow against Vasquez/Munoz from Cathedral City.
Rachelle Henriguez and Kennia Torres lost in the second round to Amaro/Rife from Twentynine Palms 4-8.
Alex Costa and Jayda Henry beat Urano/Ojeda from Banning 8-0, but then lost in the third round to Soster/Banerjee from Twentynine Palms. 0-8.
So a recap- Mckenzi Monical and Rylie Rohr are in the semi-finals tomorrow in doubles and McKayla Henry is in the semi-finals in singles.
