In high school sports, the Twentynine Palms High School varsity boys’ tennis team hosted the Broncos of Banning Tuesday. The Wildcats won 17 to 1. The Wildcats start their season 1 and 0 in league. The Wildcats travel to Coachella Valley on Thursday.
The Yucca Valley High School golf beat Joshua Springs High School yesterday, 227-308. Coach Jeff Evans said top performers for the Trojans were Luke Yakimow, 43; Gage Kime, 43; and Larry Tyerman, 43. The Yucca Valley golf team is now 1-0 on the season.
