HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat volleyball team fell to Big Bear in three hard-fought sets yesterday. Coach Missy Bond said the Ladycats were led by freshman Meleane Taule with eight kills and one block. Junior Riley King has four kills, three blocks, and one ace serve. Senior Gabby Mackall had one kill, one block and nine assists. 

The Twentynine Palms High School varsity girls’ tennis team hosted the Bears of Big Bear on Wednesday. Coach Bill Shay said the Ladycats came away with the win, 12 to 6. The Ladycats travel to San Jacinto on Tuesday.

In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School volleyball team will travel away to play the West Shores High School Wildcats. First serve is at 4:30 p.m.
