The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ varsity tennis team hosted the Arabs of Coachella Valley High School on Monday. The Wildcats came away with the win 14 to 4.

In singles action, the Wildcats were led by Brett Hope, Ben Pressnall, and Johnathan Simmons, who swept all three of their sets.
In doubles action, the team of Sean Sears/Mac Miller won all three of their sets, while the team of Dylan Smith/Donald Albers won both of their sets.
Coach Bill Shay said, “The Wildcats improved to 6 and 1 in league and travel to Rancho Mirage on Wednesday.”

Wildcats of the Week for last week are Titus Bosch, Dennis Mohn and Keyavion Davis. Dennis and Keyavion are a doubles team who work well together and have improved steadily over the past few months. Titus is a first-year player who has landed a starting position on a doubles team and who works very hard to improve his game.
