In high school sports, the Twentynine Palms High School LadyCat softball team lost its first game yesterday to Coachella Valley High School, 15-2. Coach Dan Mintz says the LadyCats are now 3-1 in league play and 8-2 overall.
In high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School boys’ tennis team will travel away to Thermal to play Desert Mirage High School, with the match starting at 3:15 p.m. The Trojan swim team will host Desert Hot Springs at home, with the first event at 3:15.
