HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ varsity tennis team hosted the Trojans of Yucca Valley on Monday. The Wildcats came away with a decisive win, 12 to 6, over the Trojans.  In singles action the Wildcats were led by Brett Hope, who won all three of his sets, while Nathan Thomas and Camerin Rimmington both won two of their sets. In doubles action, the Wildcats were led by the teams of Ben Pressnall/Dylan Smith, who won all three of their sets, while the team of Larry Martinez/Donald Albers won two of their sets. 
 
In other high school sports today, the Yucca Valley High School baseball and tennis teams will travel away to Rancho Mirage to play Rancho Mirage High School. Both games start at 3:15.
 
Also today, the Twentynine Palms High School softball team will travel away to play Desert Hot Springs High School. The game starts at 3:15. The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat tennis team finish their regular season today when they travel to Desert Hot Springs to face the Eagles.
